We need a dental assistant to join our practice! We are currently a staff of five people who have worked together for at least fifteen years, so you will be joining a practice of people who are all good friends…and may possibly have an aversion to change!

Our office is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Wednesday is set aside for the children in our practice who require general anesthesia to complete treatment (a dentist anesthesiologist is on site for this). Friday the office is closed and is the first day of the weekend! Our practice is not fast paced. We are steady, but not busy.

In an ideal world, the dental assistant we add to our practice would hold certifications in coronal polishing and topical fluoride, radiation safety and assisting with the administration of nitrous oxide. The dental assistant must be CPR/BLS certified and pass a background check. In addition, the dental assistant must be flexible and willing to help with sterilizing instruments, assisting the hygienist as needed, cleaning operatories, doing laundry, taking out trash, blah, blah, blah. We ALL help with these tasks.

Now, for the benefits parts…the office provides health and vision insurance, matching 401K, paid vacation, paid holidays (including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve) and competitive pay (starting at $19 per hour or more depending on experience).

Now, for the fun parts…the kids in our practice provide free comedy, occasional hugs, original artwork and lots of entertainment. They make up stories and tell the best (and worst) jokes! They may laugh one minute and cry the next. It can be a zoo when there’s a full moon.

At Christmas, there is an office holiday dinner and annual shopping trip to Oklahoma City. FYI, the office is closed during the week of spring break, one week in the summer, fall break and the week between Christmas and New Year's holidays. Everyone needs time off from work to enjoy their families… and regain sanity!

As of today, Sangre Road from 6th Street (HWY 51) is still closed due to flooding. To get to our office, drivers should use Country Club or use Sangre entering from 19th Street.
