DHS is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive November 7th - November 20th. Our goal this holiday is to fill 3 boxes with food donations and raise $500 to help New Hope Ministries in Pennsylvania feed our local communities. If you can't make it into the office to drop off donations, please consider donating to our donation page at https://nhmpa.kindful.com/2020-hanover-area-feed-a-friend-2020 . A $20 donation will feed a family of 4 for one week.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
• 4-Handed Dental Assisting
• Digital X-ray Imaging
• Patient Records & Charting
• Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
• Greet and prepare patients for dental care
• Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Maintain dental supplies and ensure equipment operates effectively
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
• Interact with patients to resolve issues with enthusiasm and empathy
• Organize and maintain lab equipment and patient cases
• Working efficiently to maintain doctors' schedules
• Maintain exam rooms, operatories and lab daily to ensure all areas are clean and fully stocked on a daily basis
• Possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Dental Assistant Qualifications and Skills:
• Must have experience as a Dental Assistant
• Must have PA State certification/licensure as required to work as a Dental Assistant, active CPR
• Must have Digital X-ray Imaging experience
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation
• Works well with others (both children and adults)
• Ability to work well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task
• One or more year of relevant experience in the dental industry preferred

Donate a new, unwrapped toy to Toys for Tots and help the Marine Corps make the holiday a little brighter for a local child.

We are holding our annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Donations can be dropped off now through December 5.
