New and restocked E-Cloth Inc. cleaning cloths are in. The variety is unreal!

E-cloths feature millions of tiny fibers per square inch (split much smaller than a human hair), whereas cheap microfiber has fewer, thicker fibers. Wet E-Cloths physically remove dirt, grease, and 99% of bacteria instantly by trapping them inside its millions of microscopic, precision-split fibers. You aren't just smearing dead bacteria around, you are removing it without having to use chemicals!

How cool! October 10

Meet Georgi Tomisato, co-creator of The Reimagined Runway Staunton AND one of our designers, happily modeling her upcycled creation amidst the colorful abundance of Art Hive Collective.

Her look? A dress made from plastic bags, bubble wrap and other upcycled treasures, topped off by watch-face earrings.

Georgi is Founding President of Shenandoah Green and Co-Chair of Earth Day Staunton, so finding new possibilities in things other people might toss out is pretty much in her DNA.

And Art Hive Collective is a wonderful supporter of The Runway, even offering 30% off to our Designers on their Runway designs.

October 10 - Downtown Staunton, Virginia

BIG NEWS! The City of Staunton, VA recycling center is now taking 1, 2, AND 5 plastics (yes, that's right- number 5 recycling is BACK!) with their lids on all in the same bin! Make sure you're not putting anything dirty in there to make this new setup a success.

They're also in a trial run of keeping compost bins open during all operating hours.

The city hopes to reduce waste by 5%, but with
# 5s back, no sifting through to make sure you're getting your plastics in the right bin, and making BlackBearComposting compost more accessible...us as a community can blow that number out of the water!!

For those curious, the city takes the plastic recycling to Sonoco in Fishersville. Sonoco bales their plastics there and gets them to their Material Recovery Facility in Raleigh for processing. The market and what facilities will accept can change but we are super excited for now!
