We proudly celebrate Purple Thursday during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Our club chose this past Thursday to support Domestic violence Awareness Month and Centre Safe. Conveniently, our Ice Cream Fest shirts were purple this year and provided our club an easy option for Purple Thursday.
About 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men in the U.S. will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. This issue impacts people of every age, race, gender, sexuality, and socio-economic status. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our club members and community members who are wearing purple and spreading the message of support for survivors. Your efforts are invaluable in creating a safer, more compassionate world.

In July, Dr. Basco and our hygienist, Rachel, attended RDH Under One Roof in Maryland. There, they took continuing education courses and walked the exhibit floor to learn about products, technologies, advances in dentistry, and network with other hygienists.

On February 27th, Drs. Christian and Basco, Kendra, and Rachel attended a continuing education course at the Penn Stater on Oral Pathology. The class was taught by Dr. Roopali Kulkarni, who is Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. They earned 6 credits for this course and learned a lot.
