When all of your remaining teeth need to come out, an immediate denture can be made ahead of time from impressions of your existing teeth and gums, then placed right after the extractions. That means you leave your appointment with a smile rather than an empty gap while you heal.

Because the fit can't be checked in your mouth before extraction, some adjustment is normal in the weeks that follow. As your gums and bone settle, temporary liners are used as needed and a permanent reline is completed once healing is finished.
