✨Meet Dr. Adam Silevitch!✨

We are so excited to welcome Dr. Adam to Around The World Pediatric Dentistry! 🦷 🌎

Dr. Adam is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and completed his Pediatric Dental Specialty at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

Fun fact: Dr. Hannah and Dr. Adam were in residency at the same time at Columbia! As a trusted and longtime colleagues, they’re so excited to reunite and work together to provide the best possible experience for our patients and families!

With a background in psychology and a positive and calming approach, Dr. Adam focuses on building long-term relationships with children and parents while keeping the visits fun and anxiety free. His gentle techniques and thoughtful communication help every child feel safe, heard and at ease.

We can’t wait for you to meet him! Your child’s smile is in wonderful hands!

Candy is sweet, but cavities are NOT!

Here are some tips to have a tooth-friendly Halloween 🦷🎃 :

🍫 Choose plain chocolate, which melts quickly and is less likely to stick to teeth.
🍬 Avoid sticky, gummy, and hard candies like caramels and taffy, as they can cling to teeth and create breeding grounds for cavity-causing bacteria.
🍔 Eat candy with or right after a meal to help wash away sugars and neutralize acids with increased saliva production and food particles.
💧 Rinse with water after eating candy to help wash away leftover sugar and acids.
🪥 Brush thoroughly for at least 2 minutes with fluoride toothpaste, then floss to remove any trapped sugar particles between teeth.
🦷 Make sure you keep up with your routine visits with your favorite dentist .smiles
