Big day for this superstar! She showed up ready, picked her colors with total confidence, and rocked her new braces from the second they went on. 😎 That’s the kind of energy that makes treatment a breeze.

One of our favorite parts of this job? Getting to know our patients and their families over the course of treatment. We’ll be seeing a lot of this sweet girl and her amazing mom, lenore thomas douglas and we couldn’t be happier to have them as part of our practice family.💙

Expander fun fact: the actual widening only takes a few weeks. After that, it simply rests in place for a few months while the new bone fills in and makes the change permanent. 🦷

Here’s the mom truth: a retainer only works if it’s actually in their mouth, not lost in a lunchbox or “somewhere at camp.” When kids love their retainer, they wear it. When they wear it, that beautiful smile stays put. It’s not magic. But it sparkles like it.
