Sticky and chewy candies can actually be more troublesome because they cling to your teeth longer, giving cavity-causing bacteria more time to feed on the sugar. You don't have to skip the Halloween fun! Enjoy your treats, avoid grazing on candy throughout the day, drink plenty of water, and don't forget to brush and floss before bed. The real fright? Going to sleep with candy still stuck between your teeth. 👀🍬

Sometimes less is more. 🪥 Brushing harder doesn't make your teeth any cleaner. In fact, too much pressure can wear down enamel and irritate your gums. A gentle touch and good technique will take you much further.
