Brad Corder has worked at Patterson Companies for 17 years. As for his son, Owen, he's a bit more green.
Brad and Owen Corder are a father-son duo from Patterson Dental St. Louis, Missouri. While Brad is a territory representative, Owen took a bit of a different path:
"Being a service technician is something I've always wanted to try my hand at. My favorite part in my role is feeling like a hero when an office needs help and I’m able to get there within the hour.”
There's little to no competition between the two. Rather, Owen sees their work relationship as two skillsets accenting each other - one in sales, the other in technology. His dad agrees:
“We have different skill sets so there isn’t a sense of competitiveness at work,” Brad said. “If anything, it's inspiring to see him excel in his role.”
When it comes to the cons of working together, the only thing Owen could think of is his mom gets a bit jealous that he can have lunch with dad more often.
