Apryl was drawn to Wolken Dental because of the welcoming atmosphere and friendly team she felt from the moment she walked through the door—and we're so glad she did.

A knocked-out adult tooth can be scary—but acting quickly can make all the difference.

If your child’s adult tooth is knocked out during sports, play, or an accident at home, the first step is to call our office immediately. Wolken Family Dental and Dr. Chris and Dr. Andy do their best to be available for dental emergencies like this, and timing is extremely important. Ideally, we want to see patients within the first hour.

If possible, gently rinse the tooth with saline only—do not scrub or handle the root. Try to carefully place the tooth back into the socket. If that isn’t possible, have your child hold the tooth inside their upper lip to help keep it hydrated while you make your way to our office.

Knowing what to do in those first few minutes can help protect your child’s smile long-term.
