“Why am I still getting cavities? I’m doing everything right!”

It’s a common question we hear from patients, and the answer isn’t always as simple as brushing and flossing. There are several factors that can contribute to cavities, including the frequency of acidic drinks, diet, oral bacteria, dry mouth, and even certain habits that may be affecting your teeth without you realizing it.

The good news? We can help. At your next appointment, let us know if you’re concerned about recurring cavities. We can take a closer look at what may be contributing and help you fine-tune your brushing and flossing techniques for a healthier smile.

Have questions about your oral health? Bring them to your next visit—we’re here to help.

A better dental experience starts with better technology.

Digital impressions have transformed the way we capture detailed images of your teeth and bite, making certain procedures more precise, efficient, and comfortable for our patients.

It’s one of the many ways we combine modern technology with thoughtful, personalized care to create an experience that’s both seamless and intentional.

Curious about what digital impressions can mean for your next visit? We’re happy to show you.

Sometimes the most beautiful transformations are the ones you can’t immediately identify.

For this smile enhancement, we used composite bonding on the front tooth with careful layering and shaping to create a result that feels completely natural. Our patient wanted to enhance their smile without anything looking overly done or standing out—and that subtlety was at the heart of the treatment.

By thoughtfully layering the composite and mimicking the natural variations in the tooth, we were able to create a seamless result that blends beautifully with the surrounding teeth.

The goal isn’t always to make a smile look different. Sometimes, it’s simply to make it look like the best version of itself.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Sarah yet, consider this your introduction.

Sarah is one of our Treatment Coordinators and has been part of the Wolken Family Dental team for a little over a year. She loves that our team is so down-to-earth and welcoming—and that genuine sense of connection is what makes coming to work a little better every day.

Outside the office, Sarah is an animal lover, newly married, and currently training for a marathon. We’re grateful for everything she brings to our team and, most importantly, for the warmth she brings to our patients.

We’re so glad you’re part of the Wolken Family, Sarah!

“But I brush my teeth… why do I STILL get cavities?!”

We hear this all the time—and cavities aren’t always a sign that you’re doing something wrong! Even with a great brushing routine, everyday habits like what you drink, your diet, how often you floss, and the quality of your toothbrush can all impact your cavity risk.

And sometimes, there are factors you simply can’t control.

The best way to stay ahead? Keep up with regular dental visits so we can catch those sneaky trouble spots early and help you understand what may be contributing to your cavities.

Because sometimes, it’s not your brushing… it’s the little things!

Sometimes, the smallest changes make the biggest difference.

This Invisalign® transformation is a great reminder that improving your smile doesn't always require a dramatic change. Even subtle adjustments to alignment can create a noticeable difference in the way your smile looks and feels.

If you've ever looked at your smile and thought, “I don't think there's anything that can be done,” think again. There may be more options than you realize.

Not sure what's possible for your smile? We'd love to take a look and help you explore your options.

For some patients, walking into the dentist's office can come with a little extra hesitation—and creating an environment where you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive makes all the difference.

We believe exceptional dental care isn't just about the treatment itself. It's about listening, taking the time to understand your concerns, and making sure you never feel rushed or like just another appointment on the schedule.

We're especially grateful when patients who may have felt uneasy about dental visits in the past tell us they finally feel at ease in our office. That trust means everything to our team.

Thank you for trusting us with your smile and for sharing your experience.

Meet Amy! ✨

Amy has been part of our team for the past 3 years and has spent the last 17 years caring for patients as a dental hygienist. In that time, she's learned one of the most important lessons in dentistry: no two patients are the same. Every smile has its own story, which is why every treatment plan should be personalized to each individual's needs and goals.

What Amy loves most about her career isn't just helping patients achieve healthier smiles—it's the relationships she builds along the way. She'll be the first to tell you she didn't become a hygienist because she loves teeth... she became one because she loves people. Getting to know her patients, earning their trust, and caring for them year after year is what makes this profession so rewarding.

We're so grateful to have Amy on our team and know our patients are in wonderful hands every time they sit in her chair.
