Teeth moving after Invisalign even with retainer!

Common reasons include:

Not wearing the retainer enough hours

Be sure to brush after every meal, floss daily, and use any special tools recommended by your orthodontist to help clean around brackets and wires. Good oral hygiene helps keep your teeth and gums healthy throughout treatment.

Choosing the right foods can also make a big difference. Soft foods like yogurt, pasta, mashed potatoes, smoothies, eggs, and soups are great options — especially after adjustments. Avoid sticky, hard, or crunchy foods like popcorn, caramel, gum, nuts, and hard candies, as they can damage brackets and wires. Cutting fruits and veggies into smaller pieces can also help protect your braces.
