Some recent news. We were in the process of moving our office to Greater Mack North of 9 Mile, which should have been completed weeks ago. I was hit with a nasty case of Covid (first time for me) almost 2 weeks ago with a very slow recovery. So, we haven't seen patients in over 2 weeks and all of the organizing for our move went p**f, to put it nicely. Fortunately, the new owner of our current location, Dr Courtney Martusiewicz, an Orthdontist, graciously allowed me to continue here for a few more weeks to transition, but feeling wiped out doesn't help the process of packing things away and slowly moving things to the new location.
Now just to vent; after being at this location for 20 years and seeing unreliable tenants come and go, dealing with many of the maintenance and building issues, and on top of that, hearing from the old owner that I was the best tenant they ever had, they could have had some class and contacted me when they first put the building up for sale a year ago, it was a total surprise to us. The move takes a lot of time and planning, and I would have had a few other options available with the additional time. Not at all happy with them.
So, for the next couple of weeks, we are still here seeing patients on a limited schedule and hope that there are no further delays. We will keep you all posted.
