👶🍼Baby Bottle Tooth Decay: What Parents Need to Know🦷

Did you know tooth decay can start as soon as baby teeth come in? “Baby bottle tooth decay” happens when little teeth are exposed to sugary drinks like milk, juice, or formula and YES even breast milk, for long periods of time — especially at bedtime or nap time. 🍼🍎

✨ How to help prevent it:
✔️ Avoid putting your child to bed with a bottle
✔️ Only offer water in bedtime bottles if needed
✔️ Wipe gums after feedings & brush teeth as soon as they appear
✔️ Limit sugary drinks and juice
✔️ Schedule your child’s first dental visit by age 1 🎉
