Giving Smiles provided free dental care to patients at Shade Tree Clinic for the first time yesterday. Shade Tree is a free medical clinic for children and adults in Nashville, run by Vanderbilt University medical students, serving community members with limited resources. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support their mission.

Our first visit to Dickson County in the mobile dental clinic this week! Our team treated uninsured patients, unable to afford dental care, at the Dickson County nonprofit Community Clinic. In one day, Giving Smiles provided $9000 in preventive dental care. Treatment included exams, cancer screenings, cleanings, scalings, x-rays, extractions and fillings.

Giving Smiles nonprofit dental charity is in need of a caring hygienist and assistant for THIS Wednesday August 7th, 8-5.

We'll be working with volunteer dentists on our mobile dental clinic bus in Dickson Tn, helping patients who are unable to afford dental care. We will provide oral exams, cleanings and radiographs and a few emergency extractions.

Salary per hour will match your office salary.
Lunch is provided!

Last weekend, Dr. Seitz treated over 30 patients at the free RAM mobile dental mission held over two days in Columbia, TN. Fifty uninsured patients lined up waiting for free dental care before the mobile clinic opened. Patients received free oral exams, dental cleanings, panoramic x-rays, as well as fillings and extractions. They were also screened for high blood pressure and diabetes.

Thank you Dr. Breanna Barnes for volunteering with Giving Smiles this past Friday! We provided exams, dental x-rays, fillings, and the anti-cavity medication SDF at no cost to uninsured children of families unable to afford their dental care.
Dr. Barnes is a much loved pediatric dentist who practices in Fairview TN at Songbird Pediatric Dentistry.
