Happy National Dentists Day!

Spokane is the birthplace of Washington's Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD) program. Our dentists saw a need and took action. Because of their hard work and dedication to our children’s oral health, ABCD is now in all 39 counties and more children have access to care than ever before! Thank you to all of our participating ABCD dentists!!

Recent grants are backing dental initiatives to reduce rates of tooth decay in Spokane County. Strategies include a school program for teeth cleanings and sealants, partnering with physicians to recognize dental decay earlier and increasing access to Medicaid for adults and seniors.

Saturday dental clinic gang (Dr. Freuen, Alena, Jessica, Heather, Dr. Medrano, Morgan, Dr. Phillips and Kim)! Thanks to all of our volunteers during the week and Saturday. We successfully provided restorative and emergent care to 70 adults.
