Implant dentistry is more than just placing an implant — prosthetic design matters just as much as surgical placement.

This patient presented to our clinic with an implant that had developed bone loss due to an over-contoured crown at the implant connection, creating an area for bacteria to accumulate around the implant surface. Proper emergence of the abutment is critical for tissue health and long-term stability.

Treatment included removing the crown, bone grafting around the implant, and fabricating a new, properly contoured restoration.

After more than 30 years of caring for the Spartanburg community, announces the retirement of Dr. David Jones.
While Dr. Jones is excited to spend more time with his family, he will truly miss his patients, colleagues, and the office that has felt like home for so many years. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication, compassion, and legacy of excellence.
We are also pleased to welcome Dr. Maggie Shaw to the practice. Alongside Dr. Conzett, Dr. Shaw will continue providing the compassionate, high-quality periodontal care our patients know and trust.
