🦷 MYTH BUSTER MONDAY! 🚨

MYTH: “If my gums bleed when I brush or floss, I should stop because I’m hurting them.”

❌ BUSTED!

Healthy gums generally shouldn’t bleed during brushing or flossing. Bleeding can be a sign of gum inflammation, often caused by plaque buildup.

🪥 Don’t ditch the floss! Gentle, consistent brushing and flossing can help improve your gum health. If your gums continue to bleed, it’s a good idea to talk with your dental team.

💡 Remember: Bleeding gums aren’t something to ignore—they’re your mouth’s way of saying, “Hey, check on me!”
