Aesthetic Dentistry of Fairfield

Aesthetic Dentistry of Fairfield Dr. Christine Lee is a board-certified Prosthodontist, focusing on general and cosmetic dentistry. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Our practice has a passion for smiles and a dedication for excellence. We believe in the human connection; from the front desk, all the way to the doctor, we offer an experience you will not get anywhere else. Our one-on-one patient experience will change how you feel about dentistry. Dr. Christine Lee attended the University of Pennsylvania for dental school, and completed her Masters degree and

prosthodontic residency training at Harvard. As a specialist, Dr. Lee spent an additional three years at Harvard training extensively on the restoration of natural teeth and implants. She then achieved board-certification through the American Board of Prosthodontics, certifying her special knowledge and skills in her field. As a board-certified specialist, Dr. Lee has the training, knowledge, and experience necessary to restore your teeth to optimal esthetics and health. Dr. Lee and her staff are highly committed to patient education. We believe in the one-on-one patient experience, educating on preventative health and comprehensive dentistry. From the smallest treatment (such as fixing a broken front tooth or placing a small filling), to the largest treatment (smile transformations through crowns, veneers, and/or implants), we’re here to help you navigate all of your options. We love what we do for our patients and we are confident that you will find our office atmosphere comforting, clean, relaxed and professional.

Refreshing old veneers– a good majority of our cases are redoing and revamping dentistry done elsewhere a long time ago. This patient had veneers placed on her front two teeth over 25 years ago, and noticed a small crack on her right veneer. We replaced them with two similar veneers, covering her recession areas along the gumline and softening the overall shape.

Not all of our patients are looking for a brand-new version of themselves. Instead, they’re looking for a subtle enhancement of their own smile, one that retains the natural essence they were born with. Blending the old with the new to deliver a smile that is uniquely yours!

Dentistry while you sleep? It’s the thing of dreams. 🌜☁️✨💤

Did you know we’re an IV sedation facility? IV sedation, also known as twilight sedation or “sleep dentistry,” allows patients to be treated while asleep, all while being continuously and safely monitored by a licensed dental anesthesiologist.

Dr. Bethany completed two crowns and two fillings on this patient who had been putting off his routine dental work because of his severe anxiety around dentistry. IV sedation is a great option for those who need some extra help getting back to the healthy smile that they deserve.

This 22 year old patient lost a front tooth and had a single implant placed. The implant crown she had for a few years from her previous dentist was “fine,” but the wrong substructure made her gums look heavy and gray. The crown was bulky, opaque, and misplaced. Her smile no longer felt like her own.

This case is a reminder that the cost of a restoration is not a commodity. It is all the time, skill, and judgment that goes into making a complex procedure look simple. It’s the understanding of aesthetics within the framework of color theory, material science, and mechanical function, all while being respectful of biology and Mother Nature.

The best part about changing a smile is not just the physical transformation but the profound emotional and psychological impact it can have on the person behind the smile. It’s just one small tooth, but she was so thrilled to have her smile back. A subtle change that makes a world of difference. ✨

Check out this AWESOME transformation from our own Dr. Bethany!

We have a new product that can remove white spots on teeth, without any novocaine or drilling! 😱 It’s a fast, safe, conservative way to enhance your smile and it’s a super simple procedure— this result took about Dr. Bethany about 30 min to achieve. This product is great for everyone including adults, but especially for teens and kids who require more conservative dentistry.

✅ No anesthetic or needles required 💉🙅🏻‍♀️
✅ No drilling involved
✅ No tooth structure removed
✅ One visit

It’s an honor to receive the CT Top Dentist award for 2023– that makes the 6th year in a row! 🥳🍾

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of the Fairfield County area— as local doctors who work but also live in this community, we truly do our best to treat our neighbors as we’d like to be treated. And of course, we want to thank our referring doctors for putting their trust in us to take care of their wonderful patients.

2023 was an awesome year with so much growth, and 2024 will be another opportunity to strive for more in providing our patients with the very best care!

What an honor to host the Gold Coast Women’s Dental study club at our office for a wonderful evening event. Dr. Mark Leffler was a great speaker full of practical advice applicable for all dentists.

And what a privilege to be able to get together with a local group of like-minded women to collectively share our knowledge and learn from each other— the future of dentistry is truly bright!

Let’s talk about revision cases.

This young patient had her veneers redone twice (!) before coming to see me. Unfortunately, her current veneers were biologically unhealthy, causing her gums to be chronically inflamed and fiery-red.

The truth was that this patient really needed gum and bone surgery before proceeding with veneers for the best outcome. “Cosmetic dentistry” does not always equal immediate results, and taking shortcuts can end up in results like this.

In revision cases, it can take weeks or even months for full healing to occur— but look how happy her gums are already looking. It’s so important that each patient be treated uniquely, be planned correctly, and there really is no shortcut when it comes to biological healing and a functionally healthy result.

She’s been here since April, but we’re so excited to officially (Insta) welcome Dr. Bethany to our team! 🎉

She attended the University of Connecticut for her DMD, and completed a one year General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Bethany’s personalized philosophy to practicing dentistry fits in beautifully at our office. She strives to take care of patients for a lifetime, by taking the time to truly get to know each of our patients and their families. She also prides herself on staying on the cutting edge of technology and has a special interest in providing minimally invasive, painless dentistry.

Dr. Bethany is a Connecticut native— she grew up in Berlin, and she lived in Fairfield during her undergraduate studies. She’s been practicing in Shelton for the last six years, and now lives in Wilton with her husband and two year old daughter.

We are super excited to have her return to Fairfield to practice with Dr. Lee at Aesthetic Dentistry. So far, our patients have all loved her, and we’re sure you will too when you meet her at your next visit!

When kids are a little *too* honest.

This patient had a crown placed on her front tooth due to an accident, and it had it replaced several times. It always looked a little off to her, but it never bothered her too much until her granddaughter asked (loudly, in public): “Grandma, why does your tooth stick out like that?” 🤦🏻‍♀️

Color match was tricky as the tooth also had been root canaled and was discolored underneath. We replaced her old crown and also reinforced her adjacent tooth due to a large crack line. With just two conservative crowns we were able to restore her smile, while also preserving the long term health and integrity of her remaining tooth structure.

Photos were taken on the day of delivery; gum tissue should heal beautifully in the coming weeks!
