Hello all! Governor Abbott updated us today that we can resume patient care on Friday, May 1. We will be calling patients starting this week to get everyone scheduled. During this time, we think it is important to let you know how much each of you mean to us. Thank you all for your patience and loyalty. Your support means everything to us. The ADA, the Texas State Board of Dentistry, as well as our State and Federal government have mandated dental offices nationwide to postpone elective dental procedures through April 21th. We want to thank you for your patience through this time.

At this time we are open for emergency care only.
Concentrating on emergency care will allow us to care for our patients’ emergency needs as well as alleviate the burden that dental emergencies can place on hospital emergency departments.

Over the next 4 weeks we will have a staff member answering phone calls. Per the ADA, dental care that should be taken care of at this time,

• Bleeding that doesn’t stop
• Painful swelling in or around your mouth
• Pain in a tooth, teeth or jaw bone
• Gum infection with pain or swelling
• After surgery treatment (dressing change, stitch removal)
• Broken or knocked out tooth
• Biopsy of abnormal tissue

Of course, please call us right away if you have a dental emergency or need immediate care. We will be glad to assist you.

The safety and well-being of our patients continues to be our primary concern. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally and within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding our plans to reopen for business as usual.

We are closely monitoring updates from the CDC along with guidance from the local and U. S. government, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Periodontics, and Texas Dental Association and other public health agencies.

While we are taking all necessary measures, and exceed the most stringent cleaning, sanitization, and sterilization protocols set forth by CDC and OSHA, there are still many unknowns about the spread of the novel coronavirus. Out of abundance of caution, we are choosing to limit our appointments to only emergency dental procedures. This decision is best for the safety of all our patients, our staff ,and the community to help limit the exposure. If you have a previously scheduled appointment, we will be contacting you.

We are available for any dental emergencies, pain and infections that arise during this time, so please do not hesitate to contact us at 817-809-4388.
