Unfortunately, Dr. Bui was feeling under the weather and had to miss MOM-n-PA — but Dr. Oei held down the fort in the restorative department, which means fillings and saving teeth 💪

She met up with friends from and made new friends like Vi, who is an aspiring dentist! Dr. Oei and Vi completed about $2000 worth of free dentistry.

Mission of Mercy is an annual two-day free dental clinic for underserved Pennsylvanians. Some patients drove over 2 hours and some waited in line for 6 hours since 5am. Sattler and Bui Family Dentistry is proud to volunteer and give back 🦷

Last weekend, Dr. Bui and Kim attended the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry Spring Meeting in Blue Bell, PA. Dr. Joyce Bassett, an Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Kois-trained educator, spoke about crafting undetectable composite restorations. 🦷 📚

In the hands-on portion, they practiced layering opacities to master light reflection and surface texture. There’s no better way to learn than by doing, and Dr. Bui and Kim are so excited to bring these new skills back to our patients!
