Our surgeons provide a full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Corrective Jaw Surgery, Wisdom Teeth Removal and Dental Implants and more. e, our doctors have served as leaders in organized medicine and dentistry at the local, state and national levels. Recently our doctors were inducted into the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Very few OMS meet the rigorous standards and requirements to become fellows, but our doctors do. In fact no other OMS in Maine has ever been nominated or inducted into the college. We are the first and only OMS office in New England to gain accredited status by the Joint Commission as an office based surgery facility. All of our clinical staff is BLS (Basic Life Support) and DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination) certified. All of our doctors and our registered nurse (RN) are ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified. Overall the goal of the practice has always centered on creating a positive experience for the patient in the most comfortable, safe and technologically advanced atmosphere possible.
