Dr. Edgardo Zuniga is a skilled Endodontist and the leader of the team at Lyon Endodontics, PLC - a practice that specializes in root canal and microsurgery procedures. Dr. Zuniga completed a 1-year fellowship in TMJD and Orofacial pain in 2011 at the University of Rochester - Eastman Institute for Oral Health, followed by a 2-year postdoctoral program in the advanced education in general dentistr
y program in 2013. He then went on to obtain a Masters degree in Endodontics in 2015 after completing a 2-year program at the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan. In addition to his practice, Dr. Zuniga has been a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor for the past 10 years, teaching Endodontics to graduate and undergraduate students. He also dedicates his time once a month to working with underserved communities in faculty practice at the Dental School in Detroit. Dr. Zuniga is proficient in all areas of modern advanced Endodontics, including microscopic and microsurgical techniques. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and Michigan Association of Endodontists. He is also board eligible and pursuing Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontists, which demonstrates his commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of Endodontics. Outside of his professional career, Dr. Zuniga enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, cycling, classic cars, and antiques. With his many years of experience in dentistry and dedication to patient care, Dr. Zuniga is committed to providing the highest level of professionalism and excellence in his practice.
