As consumers become smarter and have access to more resources, many of our patients are not crazy about the idea of putting more fluoride in their body. Enter Boka, a fluoride free toothpaste that still strengthens our teeth using the mineral that enamel is made out of, hydroxyapatite. Although more research is needed, this toothpaste is showing signs of maintaining strength of teeth and reducing sensitivity.

We are not an anti-fluoride office. Almost all research shows that the benefits of fluoride relative to our teeth vastly outweighs the risks of introducing trace amounts of fluoride into our body. With that being said, we want to accommodate our patients who do not feel the same way. Boka is the perfect compromise.
