We will be at the upcoming Central Peninsula Hospital Health Fair on Saturday, October 24th. In addition to low cost lab tests, free flu shots and blood pressure checks and walk-in mammography, there will be vendors available to assist with creating an advanced directive and other notary services.

Visit the Financial Counseling booth, where a Notary Public will notarize completed Advance Directive and Power of Attorney documents at no cost!

To save time, download and complete your forms before arriving at the Health Fair. If you don't have access to a printer, you can also pick up copies in advance at the Central Peninsula Hospital front desk.

IMPORTANT: Please do not sign your documents in advance. The Notary Public must witness your signature at the event.

💗 October is breast cancer awareness month 💗

PCHS medical providers offer breast exams, cervical cancer screenings, and referrals to mammogram services. If you haven't had your annual breast exam, now is the perfect time to schedule. Call us at 907-262-3119 to get started.

Financial assistance for breast and cervical cancer screenings is available through the Alaska Breast & Cervical Screening Assistance Program.

Get to know Dr. Spiller:
"I am a general dentist who takes a conservative approach to oral health care. I will preserve teeth and tooth structure as much as possible. I also will restore lost function to the best of my ability. I care deeply about my patients, their lives, and their comfortability with their teeth.

1. What's one thing you look forward to every day at work?
One of my simple joys everyday at work is sharing a new fact of the day outside of my office!

2. What's your favorite part about working at PCHS?
This is way too hard of a question! One of my favorite things is how festive and upbeat our teams are, there’s always a ‘win’ to celebrate or a memory to make!

3. What's a fun fact about you?
I genuinely enjoy walking outside year round. I’m known to turn down rides just to enjoy Alaska’s scenery!
