This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re celebrating our own Dr. Baston! 🌺
A South Florida native and the daughter of Cuban immigrants, Dr. Baston went from the University of Florida to NYU for dental school, spent four years as a general dentist, and then went back to chase her lifelong dream of becoming an orthodontist.
She knows it matters when a young girl in the chair looks up and sees a doctor who looks like her, or when a parent gets to hear the treatment plan in Spanish, the same way she once wished someone could explain things to her Mima.
That’s what representation looks like to us: families feeling understood, and kids seeing what’s possible.
Gracias, Dr. Baston, for everything you bring to our patients and our team. 💙
