Before 3D printing this was not such an easy fix

This patient went to pick up his dog, the dog got excited and jumped and knocked his front tooth clean out.

The patient is in sales and was so happy when we told him we could get a tooth back in there

This is very easy to do same day

Just scan with my Trios5, design in exocad, print on my Form4 and characterize with Anaxdent stains and it is good to go

The color match is great too!

Split file dentures can be so pretty!

This is the step of bonding the teeth and gums together.

The most important part is holding it tight when doing the initial cure.

This is to ensure that the work you did in designing occlusion doesn't get thrown off when bonding the teeth in the proper position.

What aspects of 3D printing in dentistry are you wanting to learn more about?

One of my favorites!

The smile turned out amazing, yes it did!

But, the person behind the smile is such a deserving and sweet person to be able to just smile and own it!

I am so excited for this outcome, and for her to just smile and have the smile to match her beautiful personality!

Like I always say, just look at her eyes!!!!

The confidence and joy is back!

I have learned so much about this technology but it still blows my mind...

-the accuracy
-the speed
-the precision
-the innovation
-the fun

If you want to learn more about how to implement these things into your office I am considering doing some classes.

Comment "CLASS" if you want to be in the loop

Monolithic just means it is printed in one piece

I do this for immediate dentures because they can be printed very thin

Which is nice for after surgery

These are a bleach shade tooth resin so they stain really nice here

Having control over this whole process has been super fun and rewarding

The last few I have delivered have been such a great fit for the patient

Both cosmetically and physically

What issues are you guys having with your dentures?

What else can I talk about here to help?

Thanks for all of the support!

This is the process of bonding your gums and teeth together when printing a split file denture

The key is filling all the voids with the resin and then holding very tightly when curing to avoid any movement of the teeth up and out of the sockets

You will also see a denture that is printed in one piece

I typically do those only for immediate dentures

Split file just look so much nicer for long term wear

Delivered this one 2 days ago and it fit and looked great!

When doing an immediate I almost always do a monolithic denture

So it needs some love before delivery

Let me know if you have any questions

I am also considering doing some online training for all things 3D printing

If you want to be in the loop on that just comment "CLASS" and I will put you on the list

OK

You got your scans

Now what?

Mounting them digitally is pretty straight forward as long as you know which things to select

This is the last and once of the more important records for a digital denture

The photographs

Keys are:
-use a tripod
-cheek retractors
-NO HEAD MOVEMENT BETWEEN SHOTS
-2 shots (retracted and smiling)

Guide the patient through it and keep taking shots until you see no head movement

This makes the digital mounting into their face so much easier
