Dr. Webber is a Utah native, and was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. He attended USU, receiving a degree in Biology. He attended UNLV School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2008. Your support settings can make life either really easy or can cause a lot of stress

The 3D printed mockup for a smile Try-In is so fun!!!

A case like this with a large diastema can be tricky

But a quick design on exocad and a quick print on my Form4 and we can easily do this

Being able to show the patient what it could look like is so nice

Especially in a case where we have discussed all options including Ortho and veneers, both no prep and aggressive prep

This can help the patient visualize what a no prep would like if they refuse to do Ortho

I am working is some classes but MOD PRO is an all inclusive way to get into design and digital dentistry with milling and printing

I love attending a good CE!

There is something about learning new things, challenging my ways of doing and thinking, being around other professionals that are much wiser than me, it is all so good!

It brings me back into the office with some renewed energy and focus.

This CE was about locator dentures, both removable and fixed and it was really well done by Dr. Saab!

I hope I always want to learn and improve, and I think if I catch myself not wanting to... that's when it may be time to hang it up!

Quick tip: don't do a full rinse cycle in your alcohol prior to bonding the gums and teeth

I do some spraying of alcohol and a quick dip and shake to get most of the resin off but I don't want to completely dessicate my print.

This will allow for a better bonding of these two pieces

Resin is expensive and there is no reason to throw this away

So when you remove a print just scrape that excess off and back into the tank

This is also easier to do when the print is first finished and the resin is still warm, it runs off very easy

Split file can be a little tricky if you don't have things dialed in.

But once you do, it is so nice

Things just fit!

Formlabs did it right with the build platform flex!!!

I know you have scraped and scraped to get prints off the build platform...

Possibly almost hurting yourself in the process ...

Keystones new denture base materials are a great option if you are wanting some new shades for your denture base.

It comes in 4 shades
-Original
-Light Reddish Pink
-Chroma Essence
-Dark Vein

These shades are also somewhat translucent compared the Formlabs denture base materials which could be a nice change if you are wanting to allow the natural gingival shade to show through as well.

The print speed was good. About 110 minutes printed at about a 60-70° angle.

Open materials mode with my Form4 does open up opportunities to use a variety of different materials.
