For the safety of our patients and team, our office will have a delayed opening today due to the weather.

✨ Goodbyes are never forever… sometimes they’re just “see you later.” ✨

We are SO excited to welcome back our favorite traveling hygienist, Codi. Her positive energy, gentle touch, and genuine care for every patient make such a difference in our office. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable, heard, and truly cared for.

Here are Codi’s questions and answers:

What is your favorite part of being a dental hygienist? My favorite thing about being a hygienist is when my patients understand and follow my advice and in turn, end up feeling better and healthier. I want every visit to be comfortable and enjoyable, but I cannot do it alone. I need my patients to do their part at home, so that we make a good team keeping them healthy and happy.

What is the best piece of dental advice you ever received? The best dental advice I’ve received is to meet your patients where they are. I never intend to lecture or make someone feel bad about their current oral conditions. It starts with one small step in the right direction and builds from there. No matter what you’ve been doing or not doing at home, or how long you’ve been out of the office — it just matters that you’re here now, and we can work together to get you where you need to be.

✨Today we are celebrating our very own Southern Belle… Amanda! ✨

Amanda is coming up on her one year anniversary with our office, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care she brings to our team every single day! From her gentle touch to her attention to detail, she makes every patient feel comfortable and cared for.

When she’s not creating healthy, beautiful smiles, Amanda loves to bake—and just like her work, everything she does is made with a whole lot of heart. 🧁💛

This week, we asked each of our hygienists a fun set of questions—here are Amanda’s answers!

What is your favorite part of being a dental hygienist? My favorite part of being a dental hygienist is both helping patients achieve a healthy & beautiful smile along with creating friendships with my patients. I enjoy teaching them little tips and tricks that they can utilize at home and feel good about their oral health, as well as learning about the patient a person. Hygiene can get monotonous but each patients individual personality adds color to my day!

What is your go-to "guilty pleasure" snack that you tell patients to avoid? As far as a "guilty pleasure snack"... I never say no to some ice cream!

We are so lucky to have her and can’t wait to celebrate many more years ahead!
