Dr. Stein built something that doesn’t exist anywhere else on the North Shore: a prosthodontist who handles the cases other dentists can’t — then surrounds that clinical precision with a patient experience that feels like a luxury spa.

When a patient says words can't capture their experience, we take that as the highest compliment.

The office, the doctor, the team. Every part of a visit here is designed with the same care: technology that makes treatment faster and more comfortable, a doctor who won't settle for "good enough," and a team that treats you like family, not just a number.

Thank you to every patient who takes the time to share their story. It means more than you know.

You've been making do for years. It's not too late.

All-on-X replaces a full arch of failing teeth on as few as four implants — anchored into the bone, not resting on your gums. One fixed arch, seated the same day. Most patients tell us they wonder why they waited.

Dr. Stein is a prosthodontist — a specialist, not a general dentist — in the top 1% nationally for All-on-X, with 3,000+ dental implant cases behind him.

If you've been told you need dentures, you're probably a candidate for something better. Request an appointment at thesteincenter.com or call the number in our bio.

Sixty-three years of dental appointments, and this one was different. "Never been so relaxed in a dental chair in all my 63 years." Heated massage chairs, noise-cancelling headphones, and a team that never rushes you — comfort isn't an upgrade here; it's the standard. Call to request an appointment — our phone number is in our bio.

That screen next to you isn't decoration. It's your mouth, right now, magnified.

Most people have never actually seen the tooth they're being told about. They get a description, a recommendation, and a treatment plan they have to take on faith.

Here you watch it happen. The same magnified view Dr. Stein is working from is on the screen beside you, in real time. He can point at exactly what he means. You can see the crack, the wear, the old filling that's failing, and you can see it before anyone asks you to decide anything.

It's harder to feel talked into something when you're looking at it yourself.

Comprehensive diagnostics in real time. That's the standard here.

Decades of wear, erosion and failing dentistry left this patient with teeth that were short, chipped and discolored, and a bite that no longer worked the way it should.

We rebuilt the entire mouth: every tooth restored to proper length, shape and color, with a bite designed to function and last. This is full-mouth reconstruction, planned and executed by a credible prosthodontist.

Complex cases are our specialty. If you've been told your case is complicated, that's exactly the work we do every day.

Dr. Weiss will explain it before he does it.

He examines, he looks at the imaging, and then he sits you down down to walk you through what he found. What he sees, why it matters, what your options are, and which one he'd choose for you.

Then you get to think about it. Nothing has to get decided in the chair that day unless you're ready to decide it.

Not a list of problems. A plan you actually understand and agree to.

Comprehensive care means looking at the whole mouth rather than one tooth at a time. It's what his advanced general dentistry residency at Loyola was built around, and it's why the conversation matters as much as the appointment.

If it's been a while since your last visit, he's not going to make you feel bad about it. That's not how this works.

Your crown, custom designed while you relax in the chair. Done in one visit.

Dr. Stein on the technology at The Stein Center, and why it's amazing:

The way it used to go, you'd go home with a temporary that day. Come back three weeks later. Get numb again. Then the crown goes in, hoping everything fits perfectly.

Now, while you're waiting in the chair relaxing, we go ahead and custom design your crown. About 40 minutes later you have a perfectly fitting crown, and since you're already numb, you don't need a temporary at all.

It also lets us create a beautiful crown for you, all done at the same visit.

Single visit. It really is amazing.

Dr. Stein will tell you exactly how a dental implant process works. All of it, up front.

A scan of your actual bone, and a plan built around what he sees there customized for you.

He'll walk you through it start to finish: the imaging, the day the implant goes in, the months your jaw spends fusing to it, the abutment, the final crowns. What each step feels like. How long it takes. What you'll be able to eat and when.

Most patients come in with questions they've been carrying for years, and leave with a timeline.

He's a prosthodontist. These are the cases other dental practices refer out — so by the time he's explaining yours, he's almost certainly done one like it before.

What actually happens at a first visit here.

Some people arrive knowing exactly what they want — they want to fix their smile. Some arrive because a tooth is hurting. And some arrive because something bigger is going on and they need a doctor to look at it properly.

Whichever one you are, the visit looks the same: you'll see one of our doctors that day. We take imaging. We do a comprehensive exam. And then we talk — about your goals, about what you've been dealing with, and about what's actually possible.

You leave with a game plan. Not a lecture. A plan, and the feeling that you were heard.

If you've been putting this off for a year — or ten — this is the visit that ends the guessing.
