Wiseman Endodontics is a dental specialty office primarily focused on saving teeth. Endodontists are dentists who specialize in maintaining teeth through endodontic therapy procedures, most commonly referred to as a 'root canal'. All dentists are trained in diagnosis and endodontic therapy, however, some teeth can be especially difficult to diagnose and treat. That’s why you may have been referred

Oh look who’s slacking off today… 😴🐾

Instead of cuddling with patients, Zen decided belly-up nap mode was the priority. Honestly, we respect the commitment.

Meanwhile, the humans were busy preparing for our final inspection for our permanent IV moderate sedation license. This has been a long process with a lot of training, planning, preparation, and teamwork — and we’re excited to keep expanding options for patients who feel anxious, have difficulty getting numb, or need a little extra support during treatment.

Zen may have slept through prep day, but the rest of the Wiseman Endo team showed up ready. 💪🦷

Seven IV moderate sedation cases completed.

That number may sound simple, but behind it is a tremendous amount of preparation, training, travel, repetition, and teamwork.

Over the last year, our team has worked hard to strengthen every part of this process. We traveled out of state multiple times for training and continued putting in the work here at home through EMS preparation, emergency response drills, and ongoing practice as a team. Every step has been focused on doing this the right way.

We recently took a moment to celebrate together at Ironwood Steakhouse in Sioux Falls, and it was a meaningful reminder that accomplishments like this never happen because of one person. They happen because of a team that is willing to learn, prepare, practice, and support one another at a high level.

I’m genuinely grateful for this group and for how seriously they have embraced this addition to our practice. Their investment, professionalism, and teamwork have made all the difference.

Seven cases completed to date, and we’re just getting started.

We’re excited to officially announce that Wiseman Endodontics now offers IV Moderate Sedation.

This has been a long time in the making, (over a year) and we’re grateful to now be able to provide this option for patients who qualify. We’ve alreadycompleted 4 successful sedation cases, with several more scheduled.

IV Moderate Sedation can help create a calmer, more controlled, and more comfortable experience for patients who need a deeper level of relaxation during treatment.

All sedation is provided in-house by Dr. Anne Wiseman in a safe, closely monitored environment.

Celebrating Kerri and Nadya today!

🎉 Happy Birthday, Jenna! 🎉

We’re celebrating our newest team member today—and we honestly couldn’t be luckier to have her. Jenna is a fast learner, a true team player, and fits right into the Wiseman Endo culture like she’s been here forever.

Originally from North Dakota, she’s now adjusting to the “temperate” climate of South Dakota 😉 and bringing her veterinary background with her—especially loving that Zen is part of how we help care for our patients.

To celebrate, we went big with 24 full-size cupcakes from 🧁 and even dug up one of the last remaining Wiseman Endo Corkcicle mugs (basically a collector’s item at this point 😄).

Today we had a 9-year-old and a 13-year-old in the chair — and they were absolute rockstars.

Working with young patients can sometimes be challenging… but not these two. Calm. Brave. Trusting. Incredible.

And of course, Zen was right where she needed to be — doing what she does best. 🐾
