Our two superstar patients, Tillman & McCrae, finally got to meet each other… and of course, Dr. Matt and Dr. Greene had to join in on the fun for a little “Flex Friday”! 💪🦷😎

To say that kids have fun at the Smile Place is an understatement! ❤️ We want every child who walks through our doors to feel at home, safe, comfortable, and excited to be here! We absolutely LOVE when these three brothers come to visit us at Smile Place! 😁✨ Not only are they all sugar bug free, but they actually LOVE coming to the dentist—and that is exactly what we hope to create for every child who walks through our doors!

From the moment your child arrives, our team works hard to make each visit fun, comfortable, and completely kid-friendly. We believe in being patient, kind, encouraging, and taking the time to let every child feel comfortable and confident. 🥰

And of course… getting to earn their token for the prize machine at the end makes the visit even more fun! 🎁🧸 Seeing those huge smiles after a great checkup is one of our favorite parts of the job!

As summer comes to an end, we want to give a BIG Smile Place shoutout to Emma, Teja, and Madelyn! 💙🩷

These three incredible girls spent their summer with us at Smile Place, learning so much more than just what happens inside a pediatric dental office. They learned what it means to love, serve, encourage, and care for our community—and along the way, they helped us put smiles on the faces of SO many of our patients! 🦷✨

We are incredibly grateful for the hard work, kindness, energy, and heart each of you brought to Smile Place this summer. You became such a special part of our team, and we are going to miss having you around!

After all the excitement yesterday, it looks like this little leopard made one important stop before heading back to the Greenville Zoo… a dental cleaning at Smile Place! 😄

Even a leopard knows you can’t skip your checkup! Healthy teeth help keep those big cat smiles strong, so don’t let your little cubs miss theirs either.

𝕋𝕙𝕣𝕠𝕨𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜 𝕋𝕙𝕦𝕣𝕤𝕕𝕒𝕪!

This photo takes us back to dinner with our spouses during our pediatric dental residency at MUSC (2012–2014). Dr. Matt and Dr. Leanna had the privilege of training side by side as co-residents.

But our story actually began long before residency…

Did you know that Dr. Matt’s dad and Dr. Leanna’s dad first met nearly 50 years ago while playing football together at the University of Pittsburgh? 🏈 Their friendship continued as they attended dental school at Pitt, then completed their orthodontic residencies together. What started as teammates became a lifelong friendship—and our families have been connected ever since.

Years later, that same bond brought Dr. Matt and Dr. Leanna together in pediatric dental residency, and today we’re honored to serve families together at Smile Place.

To us, Smile Place has always been about more than teeth—it’s about relationships, trust, and treating every child the way we’d want our own children to be cared for. ❤️

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your family’s story. We truly promise to care for your kids like they’re our own.
