After much consideration, we are reopening limited availability for our Medicaid community.
We aim to be a reliable resource for those situations when a patient needs care; and access is otherwise challenging, delayed or inaccessible.

Limited Availability: Priority for Urgent & Referred Care
At this time, we are reserving Medicaid appointment availability for:
-Emergent dental needs
-Broken or fractured teeth
-Dental infections or pain
-Extractions
-Root canals / endodontic needs
-Patients with a current referral from another dental or medical provider

We especially welcome referrals from our orthodontic, dental, medical, and other community-provider colleagues when a Medicaid patient needs timely treatment that may otherwise be difficult to access.

We are often asked here at the office; "why do I need X-rays?"
Even if something doesn't hurt, or isn't bothering you; it is important to stay on top of getting regular x-rays for multiple reasons!
Here are a few good ones;
🦠Build up of bacteria and food debris can linger below the gumline and cause issues such as gingivitis, bone loss or tooth decay.
Another reason is, we cannot see what is below the surface of the enamel. Cavities can form from microscopic cracks- or fissures, in the tooth. This can be something that happens on the inside, and without preventative imagining- we wouldn't be able to see it!

⭐Five-Star Friday⭐

There are moments that remind us why we choose this profession day in and out; and this review is one of them.

"Every once in a while you encounter people on earth who must be Angels sent to earth to heal others. In this instance it’s Dr Gulati and his staff. In my 61 years of life, 55 of those years I’ve been plagued by unbearable dental anxiety. With Dr Gulati and his staff, my anxiety is now minimal in their chair. I’ve had an extraction, crowns replaced, Scaling and Root Planing, cleanings, etc, and throughout all of my procedures they have treated me with kindness and patience. Dr Gulati has also educated me recently on the effects that pre-diabetes has on oral health. I travel 60 miles round-trip to see them, and would gladly travel a thousand miles. They are amazing and I’m so grateful to have them as my dental provider."

For many people, visiting the dentist can be overwhelming. Unfortunately, dental anxiety is real- but we never take it lightly. Our goal has always been to create a space where every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for- whether it's your first visit or you've been with us for years.

When a patient shares that they've gone from experiencing severe dental anxiety to feeling comfortable in our office, it means more to us than we can put into words.

🦷 Tea & Talk at The Vintage at Silverdale 🦷
Today, Dr. Gulati and the team had the pleasure of hosting a Tea & Talk with the wonderful residents at The Vintage in Silverdale!

Our discussion, Caring for Our Smiles as We Age, focused on common oral health concerns experienced as we get older; including dry mouth, denture care, and ways to maintain a healthy smile throughout every stage of life. We also had a great time answering questions and sharing practical tips to help residents feel more confident about their oral health.

Thank you to everyone at The Vintage for the warm welcome and engaging conversation. We truly enjoyed spending the afternoon with you and look forward to future opportunities to connect with our community.

🎂 Happy Birthday, Dr. Gulati!🎂
Today we're celebrating the person who started it all.

Many of our patients know Dr. Gulati as their dentist, but his journey to Kitsap County began thousands of miles away in Jhansi, India.

After coming to the United States to pursue his education, he built a career centered on helping others and eventually found a home in the community he now proudly serves.

For more than 10 years, Dr. Gulati has cared for patients throughout Kitsap County, and this year marks 7 years since he opened the doors to Gulati Dental & Associates.

What we're most proud of- isn't the years, though.

It's the relationships.

The patients who have trusted him with their care.
The families who bring their children and loved ones into our office.
The team that has grown together over the years.
The community that has supported this practice from the beginning.

Healthcare is personal. Dentistry is personal.

Every day, Dr. Gulati has the opportunity to help someone feel healthier, more comfortable, and more confident because of their smile; and that's what continues to inspire him after all these years.

Today we're grateful to celebrate not just a birthday, but the person whose vision created the practice we call home.
