Job description
Front Desk Receptionist

Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar using dental scheduling software
- Provide administrative support such as email, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collect co-pays or payments from patients
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth office operations

Skills:
- Experience in the dental field would be helpful but not required
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using office equipment (e.g., computer, printer, scanner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with dental receptionist or dental office procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines

👩🏻‍⚕️Our Registered Dental Hygienist Cynthia LoGalbo would like to share some home tips on how to maintain oral hygiene and prevent future dental and gum problems. 😁🦷

Cynthia also explains how a Hygiene visit will flow when visiting our clinic, it consists on evaluating the oral health above and below the gums and by checking for:

1. Tartar 🧐
2. Stain 🧐
3. Build-up 🧐

This can all be signs or symptoms of Gingivitis and/or Periodontal Disease. 👩🏻‍⚕️

For Home tips it is important to consider the following:

✅ 1. Always brush teeth at least twice a day. 🦷
✅ 2. Use dental floss
✅ 3. Have an electric toothbrush or water floss device. 👩🏻‍⚕️
✅ 4. Use a tongue Scraper. 👅
