One of the things we hear most from new patients who come to us from other practices is that they felt like they were starting over every time. New hygienist, new assistant, nobody quite sure of their history or their anxiety level or the thing they mentioned last time that actually mattered.

Long weekends have a way of doing a number on the habits that keep us healthy! Sleep shifts, the diet changes, drinks flow a little more freely.

The mouth is one of those places where that shows up faster than people expect.

Most people carry stress in their shoulders or their chest but what they don't realize is that the jaw is right there with them, absorbing tension all day and then clenching or grinding through the night while you sleep.

Then comes the downstream effects: worn enamel, chronic headaches, jaw soreness in the morning, teeth that are suddenly sensitive.
