🐢 What do sea turtles and dental patients have in common? LASERS! 🦷✨

While visiting South Padre Island, I spotted this display showing how red-light laser therapy is used to help injured sea turtles heal. Pretty cool… especially since we use laser technology right here at My Sherman Dentist!

In the second photo, our hygienist Amanda Ledford is using our dental laser to help with a sensitive tooth on our RDA, Andrea. Laser therapy can be used in dentistry for several purposes, including helping reduce tooth sensitivity, treating cold sores, and to eliminate bacteria during deep cleanings.

From helping sea turtles heal at the beach 🐢🌊 to helping Andrea’s sensitive tooth in Sherman 🦷😂 — lasers are pretty amazing!
