I wanted to share this case.

🦷 This patient’s main concern was the large gap between his front teeth.

👄 We planned treatment for him and he was so motivated and compliant with treatment he knocked it out of the ballpark!!

👏🏼 He’s so thrilled with his results.

✨ As we discussed his progress I pointed out to him that we could continue towards achieving even more alignment as well as more “leveling” of his upper front teeth with more aligners and a little more time.

🦷Patient expressed he was completely satisfied with how he looks and wanted to stop here and enjoy his smile.

❤️Some people absolutely love the gap in their front teeth and I’m not here to take away your interesting and beautiful physical character traits but, in this particular case it was completely a patient driven decision. And I appreciate there are levels to patients’ desire to pursue treatment. I always tell my patients I’m here to give you all your options discuss risks and benefits and facilitate treatment but, you are always in the drivers’ seat!!!

Check this case out…

This patient presented above with spaces on her lower teeth she didn’t like and a left side cross bite (where her lower teeth go over the upper teeth when in fact should be the other way around). Plus her teeth didn’t touch each other in the front giving a “buck teeth” appearance. 👄

She completed her Invisalign treatment here at the office didn’t take too long and is very pleased with her results. Thank you for trusting us with your smile! ✨

Along the line of conservative treatment, if you’re not ready to crown your back teeth with large old silver fillings you can change to white for an instant esthetic improvement but still keeping all your remaining natural tooth structure. The prior silver fillings stain the tooth but they don’t damage tooth structure and since we don’t remove any healthy tooth structure you may still see a little gray underneath the white filling. Not everyone is a candidate for this but, you can speak to your dentist about pros and cons. An informed patient makes the best decisions!
