17th Annual Shelby Touched Twice in the books!! What an amazing day! Based on the verse from Mark chapter 8 where Jesus meets the physical needs and then the spiritual needs. We had 22 amazing volunteers help us at Pediatric Dentistry of Shelbyville! We delivered care to 73 patients to help either get them out of dental pain, fill their decayed teeth or clean them. Some of these patients sat in a dental chair for the first time ever! It was such an amazing day and so sweet to have so many friends spend their day giving back to the communities we serve! We are blessed to have been given skills and talents that we can share with others. In the overall clinic, 551 guests were able to receive care this year with volunteers from 80 different churches. Guests received services from dental, vision, and chiropractic professionals, as well as haircuts, family portraits, food banks, clothing closets, evangelism and more. 7 people had professions of faith! They day is a miraculous performance of volunteers and community unity! It was an honor to serve and thank you to all the volunteers who make this event such a huge success every year!!!!
