MEET EMILY ๐ฆทโจ
One of our amazing Dental Assistants here at MHLD!
With 6 years of experience in the dental field, Emily brings compassion, knowledge, and a patient-first mindset to every appointment.
Sheโs been part of the MHLD family for 1 year, but it feels longer!
Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oakland University and began her dental journey through volunteering and eventually serving as President of the Pre-Dental Volunteer Committee. Her passion led her to hands-on training across many areas of dentistry before officially becoming a dental assistant.
She also participated in a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic, providing care to underserved communities; an experience that deeply strengthened her love for dentistry.
Emily says what she loves most about dentistry is helping patients restore confidence and joy through a healthy, functional smile, and walking alongside them as they achieve better outcomes. She also loves working with the advanced technology at MHLD, which allows for precise, comfortable, and patient-focused care.
Outside the office, Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family, being around animals (especially dogs ๐พ), taking nature walks, and trying new experiences. Sshe grew up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and has a lifelong passion for figure skating, where she previously competed and trained others.
