Dr. Greg Rupp recently earned the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation -Gold Level Award for donating his time and over 1200 volunteer hours this past year with Canines for Service. Dr. Rupp is a Foster Puppy Parent of Sheba, a Labradoodle, and is training her to become a service dog for the mobility disabled. Sheba has lived with the Rupp family since she was 7 weeks old and over the past 2 1/2 years, Dr. Rupp has volunteered more than 2700 hours in raising and training Sheba to learn the skills necessary to be a qualified service dog. Sheba is an important part of the Rupp family and will soon enter into advanced training and be placed with an individual that needs her skills and companionship. We are proud of Dr. Rupp and Sheba for their service.
