The Town of Shallotte is developing a Collector Street Plan (CSP). The purpose of this plan is to improve transportation in Shallotte – manage traffic congestion, create a connected community, and establish multi-modal transportation options such as walking and bicycling. The CSP will result in a list of roadway, bicycle, and pedestrian projects that will improve mobility in Shallotte. To develop the list of projects, the Town is seeking public input from people who live and/or work in Shallotte about their transportation issues, concerns, and priorities. There are several ways to get involved:



A public workshop on Thursday March 20th from 5 – 7 p.m. at Town of Shallotte Council Chambers (110 Cheers Street). Stop by anytime to meet the project team, learn more about the project, and provide project suggestions and priorities.

An online input map that allows the public to identify where future transportation projects are needed. This map can be found here: https://gis.bolton-menk.com/inputid/?app=ShallotteCollectorStreetPlan

An online survey that gauges the public’s transportation priorities. The online survey can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ShallotteTransportation

Visit Town Hall during business hours between March 17 – April 18 to add comments to the printed map and to fill out a hard copy survey.
