During that time she developed a close relationship with her patients and has watched some graduate from high school, college, get married, and/or have babies. Please wish her well when you see her. Department of Public Assistance staff will be at SeaView Plaza on September 29th & 30th to help community members with:

Medicaid

SNAP

Applications and renewals

Paperwork or missing documentation

Questions about existing benefits or applications already in process

If you already have an application submitted, are worried about your Medicaid ending, or have paperwork you’re unsure about, this is a great opportunity to sit down with DPA staff in person.

Has anyone read this book?

I’m currently reading, “Heal Your Gut, Save Your Brain” by Dr. Partha Nandi. Dr. Nandi encourages readers to keep up with their oral health as bacteria from the mouth can affect overall health including brain health. She also states that keeping your teeth allows one to eat the recommended foods for brain health vs having no or few teeth forcing one on a soft food diet.

I would almost bet money that this book will recommend the same thing.

Brain health is not the only related issue. Good oral health is important for pregnant women, diabetics, and especially those undergoing future major surgery.
