We can actually do more things than dentistry. Our dear friend(of 42 years), Robin Johnston, requested that I do a gourd art piece for her. She wanted the traditional southern dogwoods and cardinals so I got busy and finished this piece last night. I hope she was pleased and thanks for your confidence in me as an artist. She and Word drove up from the coast today and picked it up.

This is an interesting case that I recently treated. To give you a little background: this patient broke her upper front tooth all the way to the gum line.(as you can see from the first photo) This tooth had not had a root canal and I explained to her that the only possible treatment was to perform a root canal on the tooth then place a metal post in the upper portion of the canal. A composite core build up was then done around the post and this was shaped for a new crown. The temporary crown is pictured until a new porcelain crown is made. All this was done in one visit and we achieved an excellent result.
