Which is better: Invisalign or braces?

We've been answering this question for years, and we still hear it all the time! Here's the answer:

—Braces and Invisalign are both great tools, and for most people, they produce the same great results!

—Invisalign is a more discreet option since brackets and wires aren't needed. This makes it easier for patients to brush and floss. The biggest factor is compliance; the trays need to be worn for 22 hours a day, so commitment is important!

—Braces are a great fit for many patients because they're a fixed appliance. You don't have to remember to wear them and they're a little more hands-free. However, they can make it a bit more challenging to brush and floss, so you'll have to take a some extra care when keeping your teeth clean.
