It's always exciting to welcome a new member into our Cavity Free Club and it especially makes us proud knowing our patients are prioritizing their oral health from a young age. By teaching children proper brushing and flossing techniques helps them to form healthy habits and build positive self-esteem for a lifetime. Way to go, Logan! Keep up the good work. 🤩

Did you know February is Children’s Dental Health Month? 🦷🪥✨ Help your little ones develop a lifetime of healthy smiles and ensure your whole family has strong, happy teeth by keeping these from Dr. Kyle in mind:

🦷: As soon as you see that first tooth pop through, try your best to introduce the toothbrush into your kiddo’s daily routine and schedule their first visit within 6 months.
🧃: Limit sugary drinks like juice, Gatorade, etc. to mealtimes only to help reduce the risk of cavities.
🎶: Don’t forget to make it fun! As a dad myself, I know how grueling it is to wrestle a rolling gator - er, toddler - when it comes to brushing their teeth. I’ve found Raffi’s “Brush Your Teeth” song to be a big hit and has the whole family singing along for the recommended two minutes of brushing!
📆: Last but not least, take this opportunity to prioritize your family’s oral health with regular dental check-ups of at least twice a year. This will help reduce the risk of not only cavities but gum disease and other overall health issues as well!
