“Do I need a filling or a crown?” We hear that a lot.

Small cavity → a filling can be a great, conservative fix. More decay, a crack, or wear → a filling may not hold, and a crown can protect the whole tooth.

We keep as much natural tooth as we can — and won’t recommend more than you truly need.
