From a small ceramic block to your finished crown 👑—right in our office:
1. Start with a porcelain block
We select a high-quality ceramic block that closely matches the natural shade of your teeth.
2. Precision milling
Using your custom digital design, our in-office CEREC machine carefully carves the crown out of that block. It’s a quiet, automated process that typically takes just a few minutes.
3. Finishing touches
Once milled, we smooth and polish the crown, and add any custom shading so it blends beautifully with your smile.
4. Strengthening in the oven
The crown is then placed in a special oven, where it’s fired at high temperatures to increase its strength and durability while enhancing its natural appearance.
5. Ready to place
After cooling, your crown is ready to be bonded—no waiting, no temporary.
What this means for you:
It’s fast, comfortable, and convenient. You can relax in the chair while everything is made right here, and walk out the same day with a strong, natural-looking crown—no second appointment needed.
