Joining them is Todd Tomlinson, our Patterson rep (a.k.a. our practice quarterback.)

It’s Aesthetica Contemporary Dentistry’s 15th anniversary! It all started when two women met and immediately developed not only a wonderful working relationship but a deep and lasting friendship.

Dr. Evy Kollia and Lori Herbert set their sights on using their combined gifts and talents to build a start-up dental practice like no other. Their vision was to create a state-of-the-art practice using modern techniques, technologies, and materials. It would be no small feat; the recession made things tricky, and they would be starting with zero existing patients.

Miraculously, with the help of their amazing friend and Patterson representative Todd Tomlinson, it took less than five months to build the practice. Dr. Kollia saw her first patient on September 17, 2008 at Aesthetica’s original location at 2731 Eastlake Ave E. The practice thrived in that location, but after eight years it had outgrown the space.

Fortunately, a beautiful new building was being erected next door, so Aesthetica took the leap to become 2701 Eastlake Ave E’s very first tenant in March 2017. Moving to the 2701 building offered the opportunity to add more technology, with double the number of treatment rooms, parking, etc.

From Dr. Kollia and Lori: “To say we are blessed beyond measure is an understatement. We couldn't have done any of it without those patients who took a chance on us at the very beginning, and to those who continue to choose us today. We're thankful for an incredibly gifted team of doctors, hygienists, assistants, and admins. Cheers to 15 wonderful years and many, many more!”
