This has been a very difficult post that I have been waiting, dreading, to share for the past 8 months. A part of me waiting for her mother to be ready to share this story.

Kyana was my very talented, beautiful, radiant and inspiring cousin who tragically passed away in Sept 2025. Her love still lives on in my heart and the hearts of everyone she knew. I do wonder what amazing achievements were still waiting for her to reach. She surely did the most while she was with us.

In her honor, a scholarship to help students at Arizona State University has been established. Let’s show our support for all the high achieving young learners by contributing to her scholarship and in hopes that her legacy, just like the ever lasting love in our hearts, lives on.

Jen, also known as Dr. Thomas, began her career as a dentist after receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious USC School of Dentistry. After having her son, she chose to focus on dental hygiene, where she has dedicated the past 18 years of her career.
Coming from a family of dentists—her father was also a dentist—Jen brings a deep well of knowledge and experience to our team.

All-on-X implant retained fixed prosthesis.

This beautiful transformation brought tears to my eyes. The words we hear most are “I wish I’d done this sooner.” Can’t believe we are able to make such a difference in a person’s ability to eat and their outlook towards themselves.

Final conversions are usually done 4-6 months after initial surgery. However, patients leave on the day of the surgery with fixed prosthesis that are screwed onto their implants, hence terms such as “teeth in a day”. But in reality, it takes months of care before we can deliver the final product.

During our cosmetic consultations, one of the most prevalent, and important, questions asked is how do we assure the final restorations will be a good fit aesthetically, functionally and phonetically. The answer is a wax up. Records are used to create a design for each specific person that matches the unique aesthetics and function.
This wax up is then used as the guide for preparations, allowing for minimum reduction of the teeth to achieve the desired smile.

2025 has been a year of change. Our team worked very hard every day to make sure that every procedure and treatment went seamless for out patients and for this orchestra of a practice to work harmoniously as one. Continuing education has been one of the priorities of this year, and every year. Through the knowledge we accumulate, we are able to make these remarkable transformations possible for our patients. This year has been a year of adventures, and also, deeply painful personal losses. However, it’s through loss that we understand and appreciate the company of those who we care for and the value of the life that we have been given. Here’s to 2026, a year of love—for life, for our work, and for the career and life choices that shape who we are.
