I just came back getting snow tires put on by my local car service center, and it made me nostalgic for the good old days....meaning like 10 or 15 years ago.
It used to be, when I walked into my local family owned service center, all the guys knew me, they knew my name, they knew where I worked, and even knew my favorite baseball team. Just a simple and quick conversation at the counter affirmed why I was there and off I went.
Nowaday, everything is so corporate.
Even though I had just made my snow tire appointment at my local service center yesterday with this same guy (someone I had never previously met because he is relatively new), he had no recollection of our conversation. He did find the appointment he had made, but the process of "checking in" took still over 15 minutes. He had to wait for his computer to boot up, log in, find the appointment, ask me about my mileage, license plate, etc, then he left me to make sure the tires were actually at the shop and ready to put on.
What does this have to do with Dentist ADK?
Well, Dentist ADK is the old fashioned, family owned business from yesteryear. We are NOT CORPORATE. We are a small, locally owned and operated dental office where quality and high tech dentistry is performed by people you probably already know, and who will likely be there year after year.
Unlike our corporate dental colleagues (ie. Aspen Dental or your local dentist office who sold to an anonymous corporate owner when the original owner/dentist retired), Dentist ADK builds its business by taking great care of our patients. When things go sideways (which does happen from time to time), we take care of it. We treat people as we want to be treated.
