Patients hear this word all the time and aren't sure what it means. Let me break it down.

An impacted wisdom tooth is one that doesn't have enough room to fully emerge or grow in normally. It can be angled sideways, trapped under the gum, or pushing into other teeth.

Impacted teeth are more likely to cause:
⚠️ Pain and swelling
⚠️ Infection
⚠️ Damage to neighboring teeth
⚠️ Cysts

This is one of the most common questions I get, and I love answering it.

With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The titanium post that integrates with your jawbone is incredibly durable. The crown on top may need replacement after 15-20 years, but the implant itself? It's designed to be permanent.

Compare that to:
• Bridges: 10-15 years average
• Dentures: 5-10 years before refitting
