Growing up in a family of doctors in Brooklyn, NY, then Asheville, NC, Dr. Maynard knew early on that he wanted to help people. A science, art, and technology lover since he can remember, Dr. Mayna

rd excelled in school and graduated with honors from North Carolina State University with a degree in Biology and Business Administration. As a youth, he dealt with complicated dental issues, and because of those hardships, he found inspiration to specialize in cosmetic dentistry, where he knew he could use his artistry and love of science in a meaningful way. He went on to graduate dental school with honors from Howard University in Washington D.C., completing his residency back in Brooklyn, NY, at Brooklyn Hospital Center. He specializes in implant, pediatric, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Maynard is committed to using the highest quality, newest technology available, maintaining ongoing education, and learning new techniques and technology so he can provide the best possible care and outcomes for his patients. In 2016, Dr. Maynard and his wife Dr. Crystal Williams DDS, moved to Savannah, where they have extended family. They have two small boys, Roy Maynard, III (RJ) and Roman Maynard. They enjoy traveling, boating and working within their community and church as a family. As part of their extensive travels, they have provided dental services in underserved areas including Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina, the Maasai Valley in Kenya, and Belize City, Belize.

Giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do. Recently, Dr. Maynard, a proud Rotarian with the Rotary East Club of Savannah, joined our team at the Rise Against Hunger event to help pack meals for families in need.

We’re grateful to support initiatives that extend care beyond our office and into the community we serve!
